Pre-Conference Workshop

Session PRE-03

JavaScript in 2017

Coding Level 3
Advanced Level 3

If you need to catch-up with all the new changes, tools, and practices in the JavaScript ecosystem, this workshop is for you. You’ll have an in-depth look at the new language features of ECMAScript 2015 and beyond, including modules, classes, generators, iterators, decorators, and more. And we won’t just see how these features work, but also learn best practices to follow and pitfalls to avoid. You’ll also learn about the latest tools like transpilers and module bundlers while working through labs. Finally, we’ll cover the latest JavaScript libraries and look at popular paradigms for reactive programming and immutable data structures.
